The READ Company, along with The Weatherfriends, pledges to donate 10% of all profits from sales of subscriptions, merchandise and local contributions to a set of local, national and worldwide charities that support children’s and ecological causes.
  • 10% from Local Contributions: Contributions are collected through the literature dispensers found in local shops and restaurants, offering free Weatherfriends material for your enjoyment whilst out and about with the kids. 10% of all profits from these contributions will be provided to the local charity - usually a children’s hospital.
  • 10% from Merchandise: Merchandise can only be bought through our online shop. 10% of all profits made from merchandise sales will be distributed across a number of national and worldwide charities split 80:20 respectively.
  • 10% from Subscriptions: Monthly/Yearly subscriptions are taken out by Community/Educational groups that wish to receive a series of Weatherfriends stories in the Read Company format of “Read, Educate And Do”. 10% of all profits made from these subscriptions will be distributed across a number of local, national and worldwide charities split 40:40:20 respectively.
